GreenSpaces is a community-based, all volunteer project that focuses on expanding opportunities to green the gritty, concrete commercial/transit area - namely - Mission Street and creating graffiti free, public gathering places.

Phase I
Merchants, residents and property owners join forces to plant trees in pots in areas of the corridor that have remained unplanted due to underground conflicts.
Flower boxes and benches are placed at sponsored sites (business locations).

Phase II
Targeted project area will be kept graffiti free through the establishment of a   GreenSpaces Pilot Graffiti Abatement Program (P-GAP).

P-GAP includes sponsored sites in which participating merchants and property owners enter into an agreement with the NWBA to abate graffiti on their property/place of business within a specified time frame.
Merchants are provided with a starter graffiti abatement kit.

Phase III
The NWBA will monitor these locations for graffiti & will address any issues that may arise.  The property owner will ultimately be responsible for all graffiti the tenants are unable to abate.
